Hi Larry & Nanette,

I have shared with you the love story of my friend Emily (chynarain) and Bill (Socabeano) who got married last January 18. Well this is an update. They want me to tell their story since they feel I was responsible for their meeting. Of course I was just used by the Lord.

After I met my husband, JR Moore, in CSD, I coaxed my friend Emily into joining CSD. At first she didn't like the idea for she felt she was advertising for a husband. One night I read to Emily two CSD Adventist men's profiles on the phone. She liked Bill's profile right away. A couple nights later she asked how she could get in touch with Bill. I told her she has to join CSD. Again she was hesitant. I insisted and enrolled her that night. With her on the phone, we worked on her profile for two hours. After she was enrolled, she was still a little shy to write Bill, so I helped her. In fact I wrote the first 6 emails to Bill with Emily on the phone telling me what to say. Bill, after reading Emily's profile, knew right away he had found the "sweet one" he'd been praying for.

Before long Emily decided to do her own emailing and I left the two alone. After hundreds of phone calls, emails, and prayers on the phone together, the two finally met and planned their wedding. They got married at the Loma Linda Chapel. JR and I flew to California. I was the maid of honor. All their family and friends wanted to know how they met. I was challenged to tell their story during their grand wedding reception to the surprise of Bill who found out that I wrote Emily's first 6 emails. Everyone had a good laugh.

Bill prayed for a Christian wife for 12 years. Emily didn't have any plans to remarry but God had a different plan for her. Here I'm finally sending their professional pictures. Emily has 5 children and 3 grandchildren. Bill has a son. Except for me, the whole wedding party consisted of Emily's family and Bill's. It was a beautiful wedding. They're very happy and truly a wonderful match made in heaven. Bill gives sermons and both of them sing together. They live in South Carolina.

To those who are in CSD, please do not give up but pray that our Lord would send you the one He has reserved for you. JR and I were trully matched by Him. We always pray together and plan to hold hands all the way to heaven.
