Nannette,

It has been a while. I do desire to post my wife and my success story. Thanks to christiansinglesdating.com - I have also attached a picture of the whole family at our wedding - Please share the power of Jesus for the rest of the world, let our marriage be a testimony, its the reason we got married in the first place:

Lena and I met on Adventistsingles.org back in January 2004. Prior to meeting, we had been both praying for months for a spouse. We didn't believe God had so many plans for us in store. When I met Lena, we both started to talk about our faith. When you're a Christian, faith in your spouse is everything. We hit it off. After a few months of talking, it was obvious what Jesus' will was, for the both of us. This was His answer to our prayers. I am 23, red-blooded American, I have never left the United States, so I had no idea how to marry a foreign wife. Lena lives in Kiev, Ukraine. Never in a million years did I imagine myself marrying abroad. Slowly but surely through trusting in Jesus, we were guided as what steps to take enabling us to get married. We ended up getting married on July 7, 2004 in Kiev. Lena and I had never met in person prior to this trip I took to the Ukraine. We knew well before our goal was to Honor God and to Marry one another, to start a bold Christian family. Through so much prayer, Jesus had connected us far before we had ever met face to face. After jumping through the typical hoops you have to do to get married in Ukraine, we both stayed in my apartment I had rented and only had one week together at that point. It took us two weeks to get married, with paperwork, finding pastors, etc. Since my departure from my wife, we have been working on the Visa process. It is time-consuming, also difficult to be apart from my wife. Yet Jesus helps us so much with the distance. We share bible studies online, we can talk everyday as well. We believe she will come in the first quarter of 2005. I praise the Lord for that day in advance. Lena and I ask all of you Christians to give us a prayer. We ask that the Lord work a miracle so Lena can come to America soon. We also ask that he continues to help open our hearts to his magnificant Grace that is vital to our lives. Thank you, God Bless!
