God didn't say He would stay with you only until the going gets rough. Our problems are His opportunity. Our faith is precious in His sight, and so is little Bridget. What we go through-we will praise Him. I pray for you and yours.

My first grandbaby was born May 3, 2004. She only weighed 13 ounces. No that is not a typo, she is less than a pound. Mommy developed severe preeclampsia (pregnancy high blood pressure)and had no choice but to deliver the baby at only 25 weeks into her pregnancy. There was problems with the umbellical cord and the baby was only the size of a 22 week pregnancy. Her name is Bridget and Mommy's name is Tasha (age 21). Both are doing as well as can be expected. Mommy still has slightly elevated blood pressure. Bridget is doing well for being so tiny but has a valve in her heart that needs to close (a common preemie baby problem). This is their first baby. She definately is a miracle. God has answered so many prayers over the last week it has been awesome to see. Understandable Mommy (and Daddy- age 20) are having a hard time, they love this baby so much and then to listen to the doctor's tell them that even though she seems to be doing good, it is just an hour by hour and day by day situation. Please add this family to your prayer list. There is power in prayer and we just pray that it is God's will that this baby stays strong and healthy through any of the problems that could arise when babies are born this small and early!
