Wow you are really stepping on some toes. I agree with you 101%, because we do have a list of what we want and what we don't want in a mate, but GOD knows best. Now the bible says he will give us the desires of our hearts so if we truly trust the Lord we must let him lead. We (including me ) will never know when our soul mate comes if we stay closed minded.

Very powerful-we often place our own limits and look through our own eyes when God does not see things as we see them. It's a shame that we trust the Lord with a lot of things, but not with this critical, important relationship in our lives.

Who we trying to fool? God?(Read Story)
Looking for a woman that is cute, sexy.
Looking for a man that is well built, tall, handsome.
That is (pick 1) white/black/other
I am looking for the man/woman that God has for me.
How many times have you read a ad like this? Well let me
ask you one thing.........Who You trying to Fool?
God or your own self?
God may have had someone for you until you just put limits on him.
Most of us would have had the perfect person (in the will of God )if we had not told God how they are suppose to look and what color they are suppose to be.
You say you love God and He is the most important person in your life?
Take this test and let see how our mouth say one thing and our flesh says another(I've been guilty)
If you are a white male/female and the Lord told you your spouse is suppose to be another race........would you be able to handle that in public? Church? Work? School? When your family is from a long line of white sheet wearing members!(remember, you told God you want who He has for you)
If you are a Black/Other, male/female (same scenario) except your whole family/friends are against interracial relationships/marriages and it is now time for the yearly family reunion with Madear and them!
If you are tall and slim and want the same in a women/man.
What if who God has for you is short , fat and balding? Could you handle that?
You want someone that is within 100 miles of where you live.
What if Mr or Miss Thing is in another country and God is trying to get you to do like Abram did(leave your kinfolk) Will you go?
We need to get real! Stop lying to God!
The choice is ours!
We want what/who God has for Us.
or
Who we have conjured up in our minds what/who we think is good for us.
Looking at the divorce rate and reading the relationship horrors........some of us have done it our way(and it did not work)
Try it Gods' way now. If not...let me ask you this one question..........
