I like the idea, I just dont think that it should be called "speed dating" maybe something a little more settle like "meet and greet dating" just my two cents, but I think the idea is great!

Hi Nanette
Very innovative idea and I certainly would be interested in participating. Please let me know if you are going to commence this. At other various singles evenings I have been to they did this but with each course you sat and had someone different to talk to. At th end of the dinner you had spoken to at least 4 different people. It is a great way of meeting more than one person in an evening. Please email me with your results of what will be happenning.

this sounds good, but I wonder instead of five minutes if eight to ten may make more sence. and I'd want to know about their denom, thats important to me, and a day or ahead of time to plan for it.unless it is something done once or twice a weak on a regular schedule. let me know!

I agree with at least 10 minutes because of us two finger typers. I work nights, so I couldn't utilize it much, and don't use chat rooms, but would consider taking the plunge into this, just to check it out. I agree with the others about getting hooked up with Sabbath Keepers, as I would like to marry a SDA. But as for just freindly casual chatting Non Sabbath Keepers is fine. We all can be freinds. I agree with about a 2-3 day advance notice, though.
This sounds like something new and interesting, and you won't know if you like it til you jump in with both feet.
