Well, I for one am listening to you. I am planning some container gardening for spring. I am thinking of planting some lettuces. Lettuce can be grown around the outer edges of potted flowers or other plants. There are many varieties, thus flavors, textures and colors. You only need to scatter the seeds on the surface and dust the soil or potting mix over them. It's a very healthy and simple thing to do. Most lettuces you buy have been sprayed with pesticides. Leafy plants such as lettuces absorb the pesticides completely through, so what you end up with is something detrimental to your health. Eating what you grow at home is wiser not to mention convenient and tasty. Just use a mild natural homemade pesticide to keep the bugs at bay. And don't forget to start early if you live in a warm climate since lettuce withers in the heat. For more information consult a gardening website.

This started as a gardening forum where I could share my gardening thoughts, but then summer heat sent me indoors and I called literally "burned out" on gardening.
So now, I thought I'd just make this a place where I can blab about whatever topic is on my mind. (As though anyone really cares what I have to say!)
